Kawartha Lakes Home & Cottage Show Vendor FAQ
When is set up time for the show?
We start setting up the Wednesday of Show Week with the larger vendors first then trickle down to the smaller vendors Friday Morning. You will receive your set up information via email about 1 month prior. Set up must be completed by 2:30 pm on the Friday
When is tear down post show?
Tear down starts at 3pm on the Sunday until 6pm and again Monday Morning at 8:30 till Noon.
What are the Show Times?
Friday 3pm – 8pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm and Sunday 10am-3pm
Where is Vendor parking?
We ask that all vendors park in the lot on the North side of the building unless a handicap spot is required. This rule is strictly enforced to ensure customers are able to have access to parking. If a vendor is found to be parking in front of the arena you will be ask to move and then towed.
Is insurance required?
Yes, each vendor is required to have $2,000,000 liability insurance on there booth during the show. The show management company is not responsible for an issue that arise inside your booth area. We ask that you include Kawartha Lakes Home & Cottage Show / Csuccess Marketing 50 Exhibition Dr, Lindsay, ON K9V 0J8 to your policy.
Will I have access to Power?
Yes there is free 110V power throughout the building, we ask that you do bring an ext. cord to ensure you can reach it from your booth.
Is there drapery and carpet?
Yes, the management will provide drapery to all booths with an 8ft back and 3 ft side curtain. Carpet is not provided but you are able to use whatever type of flooring you choose in your booth area.
Are there tables and chairs?
Yes, there are table for rent, they are 6ft and 8ft sizes and are $10 for the weekend. Chairs are provided if need at no cost.
Is there WIFI in the building?
Yes there is Free WIFI for all Vendors in the building under LEX Vendors
What are the rules for signage?
We ask that you respect your neighbours and keep signage within the area of your booth space and only use S hooks when hanging on the back drapes.
Are exhibitor ID badges provided?
Yes, you will receive a welcome pack when you check in with badges and information required.
How to I secure a space in the following years show?
We have a first right of refusal policy for previous years vendors for a 2-month period then we open up any available space to a waiting list from that year. We limit the number of businesses per category so if there are 5 real estate agents one would have to drop out for a new one to get in off the waiting list.
